Integration Overview
Learn how Stable integrations are typically structured.
Overview
Stable's API allows you to provision and manage Address, Mailroom, Registered Agent and Compliance services within your account.
- Address: create and manage virtual addresses.
- Mailroom: read, organize, and take physical actions on mail items received at your address.
- Registered agent: manage RAs and legal entities, and programmatically receive official notices.
- State compliance: place state filings such as annual reports or track standings for a business entity.
If you'd like to offer any of Stable's services to your end-users within your own product, see White-Labeling Stable.
Ways to use the API
- REST API: create an API key and send requests to
https://api.usestable.com/v1/. - Webhooks: receive real-time events when something notable happens.
- AI and MCP: Connect an AI agent, such as Claude or Cursor, to the API using MCP.

Conventions
See API Patterns for a full list of conventions you'll see in this API. At a high level:
- Pagination and Filtering: the Stable API implements Relay-style cursor-based pagination.
- Webhooks: use webhooks to react to events and reduce polling.
- Errors: how to handle error codes.
- Money: amounts are represented as whole integer cents.
- Timestamps: ISO 8601, UTC.
