Use tags and teams to organize mail items.
Tags and teams
Tags and teams provide ways to organize mail within the Stable mailroom. Tags and teams can be fully managed via the API. Note these important differences:
- Tags are labels. Use them to sort mail, or to assign metadata to help you track state.
- Teams are groups of users. Assigning a team changes visibility within the dashboard and API.
Mail items can have multiple tags and belong to multiple teams.
Manage tags and teams
You can list, create, rename, assign, and delete tags and teams via the API.
Events
You can subscribe to the following events to react to tag and team assignments:
Tags and Teams may be updated by users in the Stable Dashboard, or they may be updated by Routing Rules (available on Custom Plans).
Limitations
- You cannot assign Tags and Teams, among other actions, until Address Authorization (USPS Form 1583) has been completed.
